Sales Coordinator, Post-Sale Support

Love helping customers and making sure things get done? Join a team where taking ownership actually matters.

About Culinary Depot

Culinary Depot is a leading provider of commercial kitchen equipment and solutions, serving restaurants, institutions, and foodservice operators nationwide. We partner with our customers from initial design and equipment selection through installation and long-term support.

Our business is built on expertise, accountability, and long-term relationships—not one-off transactions.

The Role

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator, Post-Sale Support to help ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience after the sale.

Once a customer places an order, there are often many moving pieces—order status, deliveries, damages, discrepancies, service issues, customer questions, and coordination between sales and internal teams.

You will be responsible for keeping those pieces moving.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who is organized, proactive, and takes ownership. You will work closely with customers, salespeople, service, operations, vendors, and other internal teams to make sure commitments are followed through and issues are resolved.

This is not a “take a message and pass it along” position. You are expected to own the issue, communicate with the customer, coordinate internally, and stay on it until it is resolved.

What Success Looks Like

  • Customers know they have someone they can rely on after the sale

  • Salespeople can trust you to keep their customers informed and taken care of

  • Orders and issues are followed through from beginning to end

  • Customers receive proactive updates rather than having to chase for answers

  • Problems are identified early and addressed before they become bigger issues

  • Internal teams have the information they need to execute

  • Nothing falls through the cracks

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers after the sale

  • Respond to customer questions and concerns by phone, email, and chat

  • Provide updates on order status, deliveries, damages, discrepancies, and other outstanding issues

  • Coordinate with sales, service, operations, warehouse, purchasing, and vendors to resolve customer issues

  • Follow up on open orders and outstanding customer concerns

  • Track issues and ensure they are driven through resolution

  • Keep salespeople informed of important customer issues and updates

  • Maintain accurate customer and order records

  • Escalate issues when necessary while continuing to own the customer communication

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend ways to improve the customer experience

  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams

Who We're Looking For

  • Naturally helpful and genuinely enjoys solving problems

  • Strong communicator who can deal professionally with customers under pressure

  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

  • Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do

  • Comfortable managing multiple customers, orders, and issues at the same time

  • Takes ownership and does not easily say, “That's not my job”

  • Able to work effectively with salespeople and multiple internal departments

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change

  • Takes pride in keeping customers informed and delivering on commitments

Customer service, sales support, order management, or technical support experience is preferred.

Experience in commercial kitchen equipment, construction, distribution, or a similar industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Important to Know

This is not a traditional call-center or customer service role.

You are not simply answering questions and passing customers along. You are part of the sales team's post-sale support structure and play an important role in making sure customers have a positive experience after they place an order.

If you are someone who sees a problem and thinks, “I'll take care of it,” rather than “Someone else should handle that,” you will do well in this role.

Compensation

$25–$33 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Why Join Culinary Depot?

We hold high standards and support our team accordingly.

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based reviews

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Paid Time Off and paid holidays

  • Hands-on training and mentorship

  • Internal growth and advancement opportunities

  • Fast-paced, collaborative, and execution-focused culture

  • Opportunity to work closely with sales and make a direct impact on the customer experience
